All our sushi and sashimi are freshly made to order – perfect with our home made vinegar dip.



Our menu features a fantastic selection of Japan’s favourite traditional dishes. Try the Donburi – a rice bowl dish

containing of a variety of ingredients simmered together and served over rice.



You can also enjoy various teriyaki dishes and bento boxes from our comprehensive menu. We highly recommend the classic

Japanese dish Takoyaki, a snack cooked in a special Takoyaki pan. Or why not try one of our hot favourites, the classic

Okonomiyaki?  This savoury pancake contains a variety of mouth-watering ingredients.

  • We ordered the takoyaki (octopus balls) and the kaisen don with assorted seafood on a bed of sushi rice for dinner from Okayu Dublin. Coming from someone who doesn’t usually pick food with raw fish as my first choice, the kaisen don was sensational! The textures and the flavours of all bits of seafood were all spot on. My favourites would have been the octopus and the salmon. Crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside, the super savoury takoyaki was a winner too. We’d definitely order from Okayu again!
